Who's up for beach reading? I can't believe it's so close to summer. It's my favorite time of year. Now that the sun is shining and there's monstera leaves everywhere, it seems like it's only days away. Summer, come quickly! Until then, it's time to grab your reads for those first few daycations!

Coming in May 2018 + Ready for Preorder

May 1 – Finding Jesus in Israel: Through the Holy Land Less Traveled by Buck StormI absolutely love this cover. I'd love to take a trip with that camel! That's exactly what Buck Storm has in mind as you venture alongside him (who isn't a camel) and into the less traveled spots of the Holy Land. Instead of hitting up the tourist spots like one would imagine, this book follows those off-beaten spots that most don't know about. As you get to know a different side of Israel, Buck helps you to understand the struggles of the people there as you fall in love with them, their culture and their land. This reads like a vacation to a land that any wanderlust would want to travel to.May 1 Road Trips by Jen CK JacobsCan we just throw this on our coffee table? It's a breathtaking cover. This isn't just a road trip manual or a few travel stories put together. It rather shows all the road trip variations one can adventure on from solo trips to romantic getaways to friend getaways. There's such a fun vibe to this book with practical insights and just the right amount of push to start planning your next adventure.May 1 Beauty in the Broken Places by Allison PatakiI can't even imagine the heartbreak that went into writing this memoir. Allison was pregnant when her husband had a monumental stroke. This left her to care for both him and the baby on its way. She has questions.Oh, so many questions.May 8 – The High Tide Club by Mary Kay AndrewsThere is so much intrigue surrounding the characters of this novel. Honestly, it sounds like the perfect book to read on the beach. It's packed with just a little bit of mystery and characters that I already want to know more about. A mysterious elite older woman hiring a young lawyer to protect her island and to help her rectify decade old secrets? Count me in! May8(Not Quite) Mastering the Art of French Living by Mark GreensideFrance has always interested me with their culture that seems simple yet sophisticated. Mark delved into the bi-continental life a few years ago. Here he regals us in this tale of his adventures and mishaps into trying to live like a local. If you're like me and wish you could buy a ticket to France this summer but can't, this book is the next best thing. More May titles that I'd love to get my hands on: The Seasonaires by Jenna King (May 1) // Don't Stop Believin' by Jonathan Cain (May 1) // The Optimist's Guide to Letting Go by Amy E. Reichert (May 15) // Beautifully Interrupted by Teresa Anderson (May 15) // They Come in All Colors by Malcom Hansen (May 29) // Come Matter Here by Hannah Brencher (May 29)
