Year Three: A Year of Bravery, We Cans + Fighting for Us

greatgatsbyparty.jpg

This has been some year. It was the best of times... It was not the worst of times. There were some hard times throughout the year though. There's been encouragement and hard conversations along the way. There's been moments when we grew up and tried on adult choices like trading pizza for salad and moments where we chose to play, where we chose rest. There have been tears, laughter, career changes and vacations. There's been conversations and dreaming of who we want to be in five years and how we'll become those people both together and individually. It's been some year. Today we hit our 3rd year anniversary. You could say we are at the finish line of the short sprint of a single year of marriage in a lifetime marathon of love, and I'm so glad we're surviving this race and running ahead to a new year hand in hand. I wouldn't want anyone else to run alongside than you, my Rick.
